Did you know…that the American Academy of Pediatrics has determined that co-sleeping with your baby, in your bed, is dangerous? The safest way for babies to sleep is... • On their backs in a crib or bassinet with a firm mattress. • On crib sheets that fits tightly • With no loose blankets, comforters or even bumpers…we know they are cute…but don’t do it! • With no pillows, soft toys, or stuffed animals • In a smoke-free home...never let anyone smoke around your baby! • With only a light blanket when it’s cold. Tuck the blanket into the bottom and sides of the crib. The blanket should only come up as high as the baby’s chest.

Never put a baby to sleep... ...on furniture such as sofa, chair cushion, pillows or ottomans or beanbag.
Co-sleeping is great...but put your baby in a bassinet next to your bed...your baby will be safer and you will sleep better too.
