Fetal and Infant Mortality Review PDF Print E-mail


Once a month, local maternal and child healthcare professionals meet to review and discuss identified case profiles of local infant deaths.

The Infant Mortality Review creates a unique environment where health and social service providers review and reflect upon their agencies' roles in the lives of individual families.  With the benefit of hindsight, we can observe the system as it actually functions.  This is where problems are found and solutions created!

Dr. A.D. Brickler, Obstetrician, and Thomas Truman, MD, Pediatric Critical Care Physician, are the co-chairs of Healthy Pregnancy Network’s Infant Mortality

The case review team meets the first Thursday of every month at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital from Noon-2pm. If you are interested in attending a Case Review Meeting, please contact Jane McPherson at 850-488-0288 ext 19. You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
